After 40 years as a small town pastor and camp evangelist in Canada, God brought Tammy and I to Welland and Rice Road in 2023.

I have been trying to follow Jesus since I was 12 years old – i’m still trying!.

Tammy and I met as students as Aldersgate College in Moose Jaw, SK before attending Western Evangelical Seminary in Portland, OR. We celebrated our 44th anniversary in 2025. God has blessed us with three adult children and two grandkids. My greatest joy in life is to help God’s children stretch and grow in their faith, in holiness and in service to the Lord. It is exciting to give opportunity to people of faith to do what they have only dreamed of doing for Jesus. We all have greater potential than we realize (because of the Spirit’s empowerment).

At my age the only sports I allow myself to engage in are chess, reading and birdwatching.
