What to expect on a Sunday Morning
First Time Guests
We know that coming to a new church for the first time can often be intimidating. Our Hospitality Team would love to help make it a smooth, easy and enjoyable experience for you and your family.
Adults
We have a weekly Sunday service where we unite as believers to worship Jesus. A service is typically a 75-minute experience. The music is played by a live worship team, and the message is Bible-based and practical. Our service starts at 10 am. If you are wondering about what to wear, most people dress casually to business casual. Feel free to bring a Bible or use a Bible app like YouVersion to help you follow along. WiFi is available.
Kids
We love kids at Rice Road Community Church and we normally offer age-appropriate environments where your kids (Birth – 5th grade) will learn about Jesus and the Bible at their level. We have excellent, well-trained children’s and nursery workers who have passed all the necessary background requirements. We ask that you check your kids into our kids’ area so that your children can enjoy a service tailored specifically for their age group. However, if you’d feel more comfortable having your kids attend service with you that is perfectly alright.
Frequently Asked Questions
There are two different entrances that we use on Sunday mornings. We have a North entrance (entrance closest to the school) and a South entrance (entrance with the carport). For anyone who has difficulties with mobility, please use the South entrance as the North entrance has stairs to climb. At both entrances you will be greeted by our greeters who will help you get where you need to go.
Rice Road Community Church is located at 305 Rice Road – Right next to Alexander Kuska Catholic Elementary School.
You’ll find everything from a T-shirt and jeans to business suits on Sunday mornings. RRCC is not about what you look like or what you wear. Dress in what is comfortable for you!
We have a few different worship teams, each with their own unique sound. Our style is usually more focused on contemporary however it may vary week to week. Our worship team represents different cultures and creative expressions, so you can expect anything. Our aim is to please God through these expressions rooted in diversity and unity, and through that, we serve and lead our faith family into worshipping God.
If you are running late, not to worry. We have people who will greet you and help you and your family get where you need to go. They will even help you find a seat in the service.
Our service starts at 10:00 am Sunday mornings, however, feel free to arrive early and enjoy a coffee on us or to drop off your kids before the service starts.
Coffee service is available before and after the service.
